Heather Hammerton

Heather Hammerton is the current Head of Research at Toi Ohomai. Heather has over 25 years of experience in the field of education, including stints as a lecturer at the University of Waikato and Campus Director at the University of the South Pacific's Tokelau Campus. Heather is an expert in social and community psychology, and their research interests include exploring how education can be used to create positive social change.

Heather Hammerton completed a Bachelor of Arts at Victoria University of Wellington, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Education at Massey University. Heather then went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy in Community Psychology at The University of Waikato.
