Michael Au serves as Chair and Board Director at Toniic, a global community focused on impact investing established in 2010. As the Founder, Board Director, and Managing Director of District Capital, Michael engages with entrepreneurs working on sustainable solutions and climate crisis initiatives. Additionally, Michael is an Advisor and Board Director at the Sustainable Finance Initiative, which aims to accelerate sustainable finance in Asia. Involved with The Hong Kong Council of Social Service as Chairperson of the Investment Advisory Committee, Michael also participates in the Investment Committee at AngelHub, Hong Kong's first licensed startup investment platform. Michael's previous experience includes board membership at IDCC and various business development roles in renowned firms. Michael holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Studies from CUHK Business School and a BFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design, along with other educational experiences from prestigious institutions.
