Aly Virji

Aly Virji possesses extensive experience in law enforcement and education, serving as an Executive Advisor and Manager at Toronto Police Service since 2003, with a focus on strategic planning, governance, and diversity and inclusion. In addition to roles at various levels within the police service, including Sergeant and Detective Constable, Aly is actively involved in academia as an instructor and professor at multiple institutions, teaching courses on public safety policy and inclusive leadership. As President and CEO of Blue Line Leadership Inc., leadership development training, executive coaching, and consulting services are provided. Further contributions include corporate training with INclusion INcorporated and Essential Impact, as well as previous experience as Vice President of Human Resources at Foxquilt, focusing on leadership development and fostering an inclusive workplace. Aly holds degrees in Kinesiology, Criminal Justice, and Education, complemented by a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching and additional certifications in leadership and inclusion.
