Heather Brown

Heather Brown is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in public relations and customer communications. Currently serving as the Director at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) since February 2016, Heather has held various positions within the organization, including Manager of Customer Communications and Senior Communications Specialist. Prior to their role at the TTC, Heather was a Senior Communications Adviser at St. Michael's Hospital from March 2012 to January 2016, and worked as a Communications Advisor at eHealth Ontario between May 2009 and March 2012. Additional experience includes Manager of Public Relations at the Ontario Nurses' Association, Account Director at Edelman, and Account Director at Avant Strategic Communications. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from King's University College, obtained between 1995 and 1999.
