Arash Olia, Ph.D., P.Eng., serves as the Manager of Transportation Engineering for the Town of Caledon since August 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing the development and implementation of various transportation plans and initiatives, emphasizing proactive strategies and community focus. Previous roles include Project Manager and Transportation Planner with the Town, as well as positions at GHD and McMaster University, where Arash contributed to traffic impact studies, transportation assessments, and microsimulation models. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering from McMaster University and master's and bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Tehran and Sharif University of Technology, respectively.
