Alka Dutt has a diverse range of work experience in finance and audit roles. Alka currently serves as the Director of Internal Audit at TPC Group since 2018. Previously, they worked at Pearson plc, where they held various positions including Director of Finance, Director- Internal Audit Americas, Senior Manager - Internal Audit Americas, Audit Manager, and Senior Auditor. Their responsibilities at Pearson included budgeting, forecasting, reporting, strategic planning, and internal auditing. Alka also led the development and execution of the department's global strategy and reporting to the Audit Committee. Before joining Pearson, Alka worked as a Senior Accountant at KPMG Canada, where they provided audit and assurance services for clients in both profit and not-for-profit sectors. Overall, Alka brings a strong background in finance and internal auditing to their current role at TPC Group.

Alka Dutt CA, CPA, CFE has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from The University of British Columbia. Alka also holds a certificate in Accounting from the UBC Sauder School of Business. In addition, Alka Dutt has obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from NASBA, and as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Alka is also a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
