John Tierney

John Tierney currently serves as the Managing Director and Global Head of Private Wealth at TPG, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, John was a Managing Director at Blue Owl Capital from May 2020 to February 2023 and served as a Principal at The Blackstone Group from October 2011 to May 2020. Earlier experience includes an Associate Director position at UBS Wealth Management from October 2008 to October 2011 and a role in Global Business Services at Deutsche Bank from August 2007 to August 2008. John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and International Business from Carroll College between 2003 and 2007 and also attended Gonzaga University during the 2005-2006 academic year.
