Stephen Ilbery

Stephen Ilbery has extensive experience in both academic and information technology sectors. Currently serving as a Tier 1 Security Operations Center Analyst at TPx Communications since January 2017, Stephen previously worked as a System Engineer for St. Charles County Government from October 2013 to January 2017. Stephen's teaching career includes roles as a Senior Instructor at ITT Technical Institute, where instruction covered a range of IT topics, and as an Instructor at Rend Lake College, focusing on mathematics. Academic contributions also include a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at Southern Illinois University while pursuing a master’s degree in mathematics. Stephen holds a Master of Science in Information Security and Assurance from Western Governors University, a Master of Science in Mathematics from Southern Illinois University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Geotechnics at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Additional educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Southwest Baptist University and early education at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and Mt. Vernon Township High School.
