Sherissa Naicker is a seasoned professional in insights and marketing, currently serving as the Head of Insights at Traction (formerly Proquo AI) since August 2019. In this role, Sherissa is responsible for ideating and scoping SaaS research products to aid Insights & Marketing professionals in crafting growth strategies, utilizing cutting-edge technology like ChatGPT to enhance brand insights in collaboration with Data Science and Engineering teams. Previously, Sherissa held various leadership roles, including Director of Human Sciences and Projects Director, where responsibilities included integrating diverse data sources for brand investment strategies and successfully leading a consulting team during the pandemic. Earlier experience includes positions at Mr Price Apparel as Customer and Competition Insights Manager and Kantar as a Research Executive and Junior Research Executive. Sherissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce Honours Marketing Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science Management and Media Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
