Kieran Smith is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in data analytics and software engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Front Office Data & Analytics Engineering at Trafigura since August 2024, Kieran previously held the position of Senior Manager for Solutions Architecture in Global Financial Services at Amazon Web Services from May 2022 to August 2024. Before that, Kieran was the Director of Engineering for the Alternatives Unstructured Data Platform at BlackRock, where responsibilities included leading the development of cloud-native data services. Kieran also accumulated significant experience at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Executive Director overseeing various trading technology teams and applications. Kieran's career began at Accenture as an Analyst, with a focus on digitalization projects. Kieran earned a degree in Computer Science with a Year in Industry from the University of Kent.
