Michael Elias is currently working as a Stem Cell Scientist II at Trailhead Biosystems Inc., developing media formulations for differentiating induced pluripotent stem cells into hematopoietic stem cells. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Cleveland Clinic researching Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. Michael completed a Ph.D. in Nanoscience at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where Michael also served as the Nanoscience Representative on the board of the Graduate Student Association. During their undergraduate years at John Carroll University, Michael conducted research on Organometallic Materials and managed the Organic Chemistry Laboratory.
