Chris Rhodes

Chris Rhodes serves as the Executive Director of the UGA Innovation District at The University of Georgia, where leadership efforts focus on fostering entrepreneurship and commercialization among campus innovators. In previous roles, Rhodes directed industry partnerships in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, promoting agricultural solutions and entrepreneurial capabilities, and advised on global agricultural biotech and machinery for Trailhead Capital. Rhodes has extensive experience in business development and strategic planning from positions at AGCO Corporation, John Deere, and Precision BioSciences, the latter of which was co-founded by Rhodes during business school, garnering significant venture funding and partnerships. Rhodes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Duke University, with a focus on health sector management.
