Sean Britt is a highly experienced environmental professional with a strong background in environmental management and consultancy. Currently serving as Senior Director of EHS for the Trans Mountain Expansion Project at Trans Mountain since 2018, Sean oversees a diverse team of specialists focused on environmental compliance during construction. Additionally, Sean is the Owner and President of Stonefly Environmental Consulting, offering consulting services that support environmental management systems for NEB regulated projects. Previous roles include Operations Lead and Environmental Planner at Stantec, Senior Archaeologist, and Project Archaeologist at Bison Historical Services Ltd. Sean’s experience also includes positions at Yellowstone to Yukon and Earthwatch Institute, complemented by education from UMass Boston and Wheaton College in Massachusetts.

Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting crude oil and refined products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 300,000 barrels of crude oil and refined products each day through 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta, British Columbia and Washington State.
