Tim Smith has a diverse work experience history. Tim started their career as a Combat Information Center Operator in the US Navy from 2003 to 2007, where they served as a plotter, radio-telephone contact, and watch supervisor. From 2007 to 2012, they continued their service in the US Navy as a GCCS Operator, providing target plotting data and analyzing C4I database management functions. Tim then transitioned to the role of Security Supervisor within the US Navy from 2010 to 2012, where they directed inspections of 65,000 vehicles, enhancing security for the U.S. Naval Academy. Following their military experience, Tim worked as a College Student at Finger Lakes Community College from 2012 to 2014. Since 2015, they have been employed at TransAct® Technologies, initially as a System Support Specialist, and later progressing to the roles of System Support Specialist II and Senior System Support Specialist. In these positions, they have gained expertise in Microsoft network and desktop operating systems, hardware and software installation and configuration, networking, LANs, WANs, networking devices, and wireless connectivity and security. Tim's work experience demonstrates their strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and dedication to maintaining security and efficiency in various settings.

Tim Smith attended Finger Lakes Community College from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Information Technology Network and Security.
