Transense
Alexander W. is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in design and development across various sectors, including sensor systems, energy absorption for transportation, and automotive transmissions. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Transense Technologies plc since November 2023, Alexander previously held the position of Principal Design Engineer at Oleo International, where responsibilities included critical safety system analysis. A notable tenure at Ricardo spanned over 13 years, where Alexander contributed to innovative solutions for wind turbine power generation and served as a gear design expert in automotive transmissions. Alexander's earlier career included engineering roles at Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains and Airbus Defence and Space, specializing in Formula 1 engine design and spacecraft mechanisms, respectively. Alexander holds a BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bradford.
