Transitions LifeCare
Sarah Speier has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Sarah started their career as a Receptionist at VITAS Healthcare in April 2005 and worked there until July 2018. In May 2019, they joined Transitions LifeCare as a Receptionist. Sarah then transitioned to the role of Clinical Access Coordinator in October 2020 and held this position until October 2021. Currently, Sarah serves as the Palliative Care and TL Kids Clinical Resource Coordinator at Transitions LifeCare, starting in November 2021.
Sarah Speier attended Etiwanda High School from 1991 to 1995, where they studied General Studies. Sarah then pursued further education at Chaffey College from 1997 to 1998, specializing in Dental Assisting/Assistant.
Transitions LifeCare
Celebrating life since 1979, Transitions LifeCare was founded as Hospice of Wake County in 1979 and provides physical, emotional and spiritual care to those living with an advanced illness, their caregivers and those who have lost a loved one. Our services include hospice care, palliative care, home health, caregiver support, and grief counseling. Services are provided regardless of age, race, religion or financial circumstances. Our service area includes eastern Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Harnett, Johnston, and Wake counties, as well as Chapel Hill and Carrboro (Orange County). Guided by community-based boards of directors and supported by a dedicated professional staff, our goal is to provide compassionate hospice care that allows patients to enjoy every moment of their lives to the fullest.
