Jonathan Ochom

Jonathan Ochom is a seasoned professional in land governance and human rights, currently serving as the Land Governance Thematic Specialist at Transparency International since January 2023. With previous experience as the Executive Director and Director of Land Management at LANDnet Uganda, Ochom has a strong background in strategic leadership for land-related initiatives. Prior roles include Land Rights Coordinator at Oxfam International and Programme Officer at the Democratic Governance Facility. Additionally, as a Legal Officer for Uganda Land Alliance, Ochom focused on human rights and legal aid for marginalized communities. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Human Rights from Swansea University and a Bachelor of Laws from Uganda Christian University, augmented by postgraduate diplomas in legal practice and project management.
