TREE Academy
Kayne Langston serves as the Director of Student Life at TREE Academy, where responsibilities include promoting an inclusive school culture and leading various community events. In addition, Kayne holds the position of Dean of Culture and Citizenship at Reach Academy for Young Men, focusing on developing leadership programs for high school counselors. Previous experience includes roles as Student Support Manager and SPED ParaEducator at Aspire Public Schools, as well as a Behavior Technician and Certified Trainer at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Restorative Practices from the International Institute for Restorative Practices and a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders and Sciences, Special Education from San José State University.

TREE Academy
TREE is a new, innovative non-profit school with a customized academic approach. Serving students in the 6th through 12th grades, TREE is designed for high achievers and students feeling disillusioned, for those with burning passions as well as for those with alternative learning modes. Individual student needs are met through two hours of weekly small-group classes, as well as an hour of individualized instruction with their teachers. This means every student at TREE receives five hours of weekly one-on-two hours of instruction. TREE offers a student-centered, interdisciplinary approach to the Creative Arts and New Technologies in a unique, diverse community dedicated to joyful learning, self-discovery and Social Justice.
