Denis Lapitski started their work experience in 2003 at the University of Denver as a Research Assistant for Quantitative Atmospheric Spectroscopy. Denis then transitioned to a Teaching Assistant and Tutor role in the same institution. In 2014, they joined Trexquant Investment LP as a Trading Strategist before becoming the Director of Strategy Research in January 2016.

Denis Lapitski obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Denver, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Denis then pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Modeling and Scientific Computing at the University of Oxford, completing it in 2007. Following this, they continued their academic journey at the University of Oxford and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Applied Mathematics, which they completed in 2013.
