Zizhuo Liu, PhD, CFA, currently serves as an Alpha Researcher at Trexquant Investment LP since September 2018. Prior to this role, Zizhuo Liu worked as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University from September 2013 to September 2018, focusing on modeling and characterizing the optical and electronic properties of two-dimensional materials, as well as fabricating and processing measurement data for nanophotonic devices. Additionally, Zizhuo Liu functioned as a Visiting Processing Engineer at Argonne National Laboratory from June 2014 to March 2018, contributing to the discovery of novel materials and fabrication methods while operating advanced lithography tools. Zizhuo Liu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University in 2018 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Physics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2013.
