Eric Descourtieux

Eric Descourtieux is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. As the Chief Financial Officer and co-founder of Trident Energy since 2016, Eric Descourtieux plays a pivotal role in strategic decision-making and capital structure optimization. Previously, Eric Descourtieux held various leadership positions at Perenco, including CFO and Country General Manager for Colombia and Venezuela, overseeing operations, business development, and risk management. Eric Descourtieux also contributes to academia as a visiting lecturer at IFP School, teaching M&A and Finance. Earlier career experiences include financial roles at KFC France, Eurocopter, and EADS, complemented by an MBA from ESCP Business School.
