Amy Hamilton

Amy Hamilton, P.E. has over a decade of experience in engineering, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Engineering at Trinity Industries, Inc. since May 2010. In various roles including Chief Engineer for Trinity Industries Leasing Company and Director of Fleet Engineering, Amy provides engineering instructions for the repair and maintenance of over 130,000 tank and freight railcars, ensuring compliance with DOT, FRA, and AAR requirements. Prior to Trinity Industries, Amy owned a private tutoring business, focusing on math and science education, and taught high school American Sign Language and middle school courses at Dallas Christian School. Amy holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Oklahoma Christian University.
