Spencer Wagley

Spencer Wagley is an accomplished academic leader with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as the Vice President of Instruction and Chief Academic Officer at Trinity Valley Community College, Spencer leads strategic planning, accreditation, and outcomes assessment efforts, while managing the grant process and funding. Prior roles include Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs at Sterling College, where Spencer facilitated the college’s HLC level change visit and oversight of academic programs. With a strong foundation in education, Spencer holds a PhD in Professional Studies in Education from Capella University, a Master of Divinity from Hardin-Simmons University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from East Texas Baptist University. Additionally, Spencer has experience in teaching, both as a high school English educator and in various higher education roles focused on curriculum development and student success initiatives.
