Talin Avakian

Talin Avakian has extensive experience in human resources and creative industries. Currently a member of TroopHR since June 2022, Talin supports a national HR network aimed at empowering People Professionals. Previously, at Supergoop! from December 2022 to December 2024, Talin served as Director of People, launching various programs including an onboarding and internship initiative, conducting engagement surveys, and managing performance reviews. Prior to this, Talin was Senior Manager, People at Standard Dose, where Talin established the People Operations function and drove DEIB initiatives. Talin also held leadership roles in creative services at Act Second and Votary Films, where Talin produced large-scale productions, and began a career in production at Skyscope and Davis Advertising. Talin earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2012.
