John Poland

John Poland is an experienced professional in the field of clinical chemistry and molecular biology, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Clinical Chemistry at Truvian since July 2018, after roles as Manager and Senior Scientist within the company. Previously, John worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific from November 2015 to July 2018 as a Staff Scientist, where responsibilities included leading R&D efforts and supporting product portfolios. John has also contributed as a Molecular Biologist at Vetica Labs and held the position of Staff Scientist at BP Biofuels, focusing on enzyme discovery for ethanol production. Earlier in John's career at Verenium, projects were led within the Enzymology group, specializing in biofuels applications. John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
