Shane O'Connor CEng MICE is a seasoned civil engineer and project management professional with extensive experience in the construction industry. Currently serving as Vice President at Turner & Townsend since December 2012, Shane has held various leadership roles, including Director and Project Director, focusing on project delivery strategies that minimize financial and timing risks while maintaining high standards in design and construction. Previously, Shane worked as a Project Manager at Mouchel, where responsibilities included the development of project delivery strategies and quality assurance within timelines and budgets. Additional experience includes roles as Project Manager/Principal Civil Engineer at MOUCHEL plc, Senior Civil Engineer at Carillion, and Senior Engineer at Birse Civils Ltd and Hochtief/Norwest Holst JV. Shane holds a Master of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering, as well as an HND in Civil Engineering from esteemed institutions in South Africa.
