Kipp McMichael

Kipp McMichael is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in front-end development and laboratory software. Currently serving as the Director of Laboratory Software at Twist Bioscience since September 2015, Kipp has previously held roles such as Senior Front End Engineer and Front End Lead at SharePractice, where leadership in developing a web application was demonstrated. Kipp also held the position of Front End Senior Software Architect and Manager at kink.com, leading a team responsible for the front end of various projects. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Interface Architect and Front End Engineer at DNA Direct, where Kipp was instrumental in developing critical genetic testing tools and websites. Kipp's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Cognitive Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington and multiple degrees in Anthropology, Psychology, and Philosophy from The University of Alabama.
