Zachary Johnson serves as the HTS Technology Manager at Type One Energy Group since May 2023, focusing on promoting fusion energy and utilizing High Temperature Superconductors (HTS). Previously, Zachary worked as an HTS Magnet Consultant and as an HTS Researcher at the University of Colorado from February 2021 to June 2023. From January 2016 to February 2021, Zachary was a Fission Nuclear Plant Design Engineer at Southern Nuclear, responsible for design compliance and modifications. Additionally, Zachary held the position of Research Engineer at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, contributing to the development of a 32 Tesla all superconducting user magnet. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Materials Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University, complemented by a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Management from Chipola College.
