Daniel Mapes

Daniel Mapes is an accomplished Electronics Technician 1st Class at the U.S. Coast Guard since February 2006, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced electronic systems. Mapes has a diverse background in media production, having served as a Producer for the San Francisco 49ers from August 2016 to January 2021, where responsibilities included creating in-house content and collaborating with broadcast partners. Prior experience as an Editor at NBC Sports Bay Area & California involved editing video content for various sports teams, including the Golden State Warriors during their championship seasons. Other roles include contributions to the Oakland Raiders and an internship at the NFL, where editing highlights and footage were key tasks. Mapes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Communications from the Academy of Art University and an Associate of Arts in Electronic Technology from Coastline College.
