Jeff Rasnake

Jeff Rasnake is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the U.S. Coast Guard, currently serving as Commanding Officer of USCGC POLAR STAR, overseeing operations, logistics, and training for a 140-person crew in Antarctica. Rasnake has also held key roles such as Deputy Director for Financial Management Procurement Services Modernization, focusing on integrating new financial systems and process re-engineering, and Enforcement Branch Chief. Prior positions include strategic leadership of the Homeporting Division, Executive Officer for USCGC POLAR STAR, and Commanding Officer of USCGC NAUSHON. Additionally, Rasnake has a background in production supervision at Precision Castparts Corp and has previously served as an officer in various capacities aboard Coast Guard Cutters. Educationally, Rasnake holds an MBA from the University of Washington and a BS in Government from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
