International Trade Compliance Analyst at U.S. Department of Commerce

Kabir Archuletta currently serves as an International Trade Compliance Analyst at the U.S. Department of Commerce since April 2010. Prior to this role, Kabir worked as an Intergovernmental Affairs Coordinator at the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco from July 2003 to August 2007, where assistance was provided to representatives from various Japanese ministries and participation in events discussing current affairs occurred. Earlier experience includes serving as the Coordinator for International Relations at Yoshimatsu Board of Education from July 2001 to July 2002. Kabir holds a Master’s degree in International Policy with a focus on Japanese from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, completed between 2007 and 2009, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and Southeast Asian Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, earned from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, a year was spent studying Art, Culture, and Language at Universitas Gadjah Mada in 1996-1997.
