Lucas Paus

Lucas Paus is currently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Ualá Argentina, a position held since November 2024. Previously, Lucas served as a Business Information Security Officer (BISO) at ITTI Digital from February 2024 to November 2024 and as CISO at MODO between July 2021 and February 2024. Lucas's extensive experience in cybersecurity includes roles as a Master Specialist Cyber Incident Response and a Manager at Deloitte from October 2018 to June 2021, with oversight of incident response teams in the Americas and the Caribbean. Earlier experiences include being a Security Researcher at ESET Latinoamérica and an Incident Handler in the CSIRT team at Banelco - Prisma Medio de Pago. Lucas began a career in technology by working as a Técnico Analista at INTI. Educational qualifications encompass degrees in Bioquímica, Licenciado en Sistemas, and certifications in various cybersecurity disciplines, including Certified Ethical Hacker and Professional Penetration Tester.
