Helena Mayo Tejedor

Helena Mayo Tejedor is a Drug Safety Scientist at UBC, with a strong background in global pharmacovigilance, having also served as a Drug Safety Data Associate. Prior experience includes a role as a Medicinal Chemist at Roche, focusing on the design and synthesis of small molecules for inflammatory diseases. Helena's academic background includes a Master's degree in Drug Discovery and Safety from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and extensive research experience in organic and medicinal chemistry, including internships and teaching roles, related to the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds, radiofluorination methods, and pharmacological research. Helena also holds a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, alongside additional studies at University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
