Vivasvat Keswani

Vivasvat Keswani is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in machine learning, big data, and cybersecurity. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Uber since April 2019, Vivasvat leads multiple teams focused on ML/AI platforms and core data infrastructure. Prior roles include Head of Engineering at PatternEx, where Vivasvat specialized in machine-learned cybersecurity threat detection, and Senior Director of Engineering at NetApp, where significant achievements included scaling engineering teams and increasing annual recurring revenue. Vivasvat also held leadership positions at Riverbed Technology, contributing to product development and the successful spin-out of the business to NetApp, as well as being a founding engineer for the Steelhead product. Education includes a Master’s degree in Networking from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
