Ayah Hassan

Ayah Hassan is a graduate student researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, recognized with the NSF GRFP Award. With extensive experience in air quality consulting at Ramboll and Vader Environmental Nanotech, Ayah has held roles from air quality consultant to chief strategy officer since 2018. Previous research at Columbia University focused on atmospheric aerosol mechanisms and emissions inventory compilation for Dhaka, Bangladesh. A former researcher at Ecole Polytechnique, Ayah modeled ionic chemistry in atmospheric droplets and published findings on sulfate dianion hydration. Early experience includes an internship at M&G Resins USA and a front desk assistant role at the Office of Endodontics. Ayah holds a Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University, earned between 2014 and 2018.
