Mike Cook

Mike Cook currently serves as the Director of the Business Process Management Office at the University of California, Berkeley, where responsibilities include strategic planning, project management, change management, and process improvement. Cook developed a specialized True North Strategic Framework that aligns divisional strategic plans with university-wide priorities. Previously, Cook worked at Genentech in various roles, including Principal Project Manager for U.S. Medical Affairs and Team Head for Business Process Support. Achievements at Genentech include implementing a Business Process Improvement framework and leading the integration of data for the ERP SAP launch. Earlier in the career, Cook served as an Air Transportation Specialist in the United States Air Force, managing logistics planning and handling hazardous materials.
