Janet Hewson

Janet Hewson is an experienced nursing professional currently serving as RN Director at UCI Health since March 2024. Previously, Janet held the position of Director of Nursing at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center from July 2018 to July 2024, along with a role as Trauma Program Manager. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Emergency, ICU, and Education at Foothill Regional Medical Center, as well as Director of ED/ICU at Los Angeles Community Hospitals. Janet's extensive career began at Orange County Global Medical Center, where Janet worked as RN Director of the Emergency Department from October 1987 to February 2016. Janet earned a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Western Governors University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from California Hospital School of Nursing.
