Johnson Tso

Johnson Tso, MBA, MDS, CG(ASCP), currently serves as a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor in Cytogenetics at UCI Health since November 2024, after previously holding the position of Cytogenetic Technologist II. Tso has extensive experience in cytogenetics, having worked as a Cytogenetic Technologist at Invitae and Kaiser Permanente, where responsibilities included supporting management teams in operations, data collection, and process improvement. Tso also contributed as a Data Analytics Masters Intern at Kaiser Permanente, applying data extraction and analysis techniques using SQL, Python, and PySpark. Educational qualifications include a Master of Data Science from the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute at UC San Diego, an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science from the University of California, Riverside.
