Sara Waller

Sara Waller is an experienced Employee Relations Specialist and Interim Lead Human Resources Business Partner at UC San Diego since July 2020, previously serving as a Human Resources Generalist. Prior to UC San Diego, Sara Waller worked as an Associate Attorney at Berger, Williams & Reynolds, LLP from May 2015 to June 2020, specializing in employment law matters. Additional legal experience includes positions at Smith, Steiner, Vanderpool & Wax, APC as an Associate Attorney and Law Clerk, as well as various internships including roles at the San Diego District Attorney's Office and San Diego Superior Court. Sara Waller earned a JD from the University of San Diego School of Law and a B.S. in Management Science from UC San Diego. Notable achievements include receiving the Best Oral Argument Award and the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Service during law school, along with completing Mediation Skills Training Certification.
