Martin Bateman

Martin Bateman possesses extensive experience in quality assurance and development within the biopharmaceutical industry, currently holding the position of Head of Development Quality BioSciences at UCB since January 2006. Previous roles at UCB include Director of Bio-Pilot Plant, where Martin defined verification activities for plant qualification, and Director of Pharmacovigilance & Affiliate Quality Services, managing product launches in diverse global regions. Martin's career also includes positions at Biogen Idec, Pfizer, Abbott Laboratories, and Amersham International, focusing on quality management, analytical chemistry, and development processes. Martin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
