Stephanie Lake

Stephanie Lake is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles, specializing in cannabinoid clinical trials under Dr. Ziva Cooper at the UCLA Cannabis Research Initiative. Previously, Stephanie has served as a Research Associate at the British Columbia Centre on Substance Use since June 2018 and worked at The University of British Columbia as a Teaching Assistant for health research statistics and social determinants courses from September 2014 to February 2021. Experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS and a brief internship with the Canadian Drug Policy Coalition. Stephanie's veterinary experience spans multiple positions as a Veterinary Assistant in various animal hospitals. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Population and Public Health with a specialization in Epidemiology and a Master of Science in Population and Public Health from The University of British Columbia, along with an Honours Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Ottawa.
