Adam Gazzaley is a distinguished Professor of Neurology, Psychiatry, and Physiology at UCSF, where Adam has served since July 2005. In addition, Adam is the Executive Director of Neuroscape, a center focused on enhancing brain function through technology and research. As a co-founder and Chief Science Advisor at Akili Interactive Labs, Adam works on developing innovative cognitive therapeutics that resemble video games, aiming to transform remote patient care. Adam also co-founded JAZZ Venture Partners, which invests in technologies enhancing human performance, and was previously involved with Sensync as Co-Founder and Chief Science Advisor. Adam holds a BS in Biochemistry from Binghamton University, an MD and PhD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and completed neurology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in Cognitive Neuroscience at UC Berkeley.
