Justin Markie

Justin Markie is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leading security initiatives. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Cybersecurity at UDR since July 2017, Justin was selected to establish and modernize a new cybersecurity division, providing strategic oversight and advising senior leadership on risk management. Previous roles include Director of IT Security and Infrastructure at UDR, where Justin was instrumental in developing a state-of-the-art data center and enhancing the cybersecurity program. With foundational experience at Wagner Equipment as Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure and Security and other technical roles at Ascend Clinical and Daystar Communications, Justin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Information Technology Management from Western Governors University.
