Karlie LeFor is a dedicated support technician at UF Health, specializing in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care, where compassionate care and effective communication during emergency situations are prioritized. As co-founder and senior leader of the Medi-Futures Program, Karlie conceptualizes and implements initiatives to expand mentorship and leadership opportunities for students in Florida. In the Medi-Gators Program, Karlie holds a senior leadership role overseeing various teams, enhancing organizational efficiency while providing valuable shadowing and networking experiences for underrepresented students. Additionally, as an ambassador for the American Migraine Foundation, Karlie engages with online communities to advocate for individuals experiencing migraine disorders, promoting accurate information and fostering positive discourse. Karlie is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Florida, with an expected graduation date in May 2025.
