Val Liberman

Val Liberman, MBB, PMC-III, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management, process improvement, and engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Product Management at UL Solutions since August 2004, Val leads a team focused on a machine learning-based SaaS offering in the retail sector. Previously, Val held roles such as Chief Bot Shepherd, overseeing robotic process automation initiatives, and various positions at Ispat Inland, including Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Quality Engineer. Val holds a Master of Science in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and completed the Global Leader Program in Organizational Leadership at UL University, along with a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Education also includes coursework towards a B.S. in Welding Engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.'
