Chip R. has extensive experience in procurement and operational effectiveness, currently serving as the Director of Procurement Services at the University of Michigan since September 2013, leading a team managing over $2.6 billion in spending across multiple campuses and the U-M Health System. Previous roles include Associate Director and Director of Operational Effectiveness, where Chip R. was responsible for developing training programs and improving customer and employee experiences. Prior to the University of Michigan, Chip R. held positions at Henry Ford Health System, Health Alliance Plan, and the State of Michigan, focusing on project management and data analysis in healthcare settings. Chip R. holds an MBA from Walsh College and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Logistics Management from Central Michigan University.
