Lonnie Shea

Lonnie D. Shea serves as the Steven A. Goldstein Collegiate Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Surgery at the University of Michigan, where also holds the position of Professor and Chair in the Department of Biomedical Engineering since September 2014. Prior to this role, Lonnie Shea joined Northwestern University in September 1999 as a Professor, establishing a research group focused on tissue engineering, gene and drug delivery, immunomodulation, and systems biology. Lonnie Shea earned a B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and the University of Michigan, respectively, between 1989 and 1997.
