UN Climate Change
Imre Banyasz is an experienced environmental expert currently serving at Sustinere, focusing on assessing climate risks for companies and providing strategic guidance for climate resilience. As an alternate member of the Article 6.4 Supervisory Body at UN Climate Change since July 2022, Imre contributes to international climate initiatives. Previous roles include adviser to the Ministry of Climate of Estonia, where expertise in the EU Emission Trading Scheme and aviation climate policies was demonstrated, as well as acting head of the Climate Department at the Environmental Board of Estonia.
