Tatiana Auguste is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international relations and political affairs. Currently serving as Special Assistant to the Executive Secretary at the UN Convention to Combat Desertification since August 2021, Tatiana previously held multiple roles within the United Nations from 2011 to 2021, including Information Analyst for the UN Interim Force in Lebanon and Political Affairs Officer across various teams focused on the Middle East, the Great Lakes region, and Europe and Latin America. Prior to this, Tatiana worked as an Electoral Coordinator at OAS/CARICOM from September 2010 to May 2011. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Comparative Politics with a focus on Conflict Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA in Social and Cultural Anthropology from Connecticut College.
