Indu K Murthy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental science and policy. Currently serving as an Author for the GEO7 project at the UN Environment Programme since March 2023, Indu also holds the position of Associate Editor for Frontiers in Forests and Global Change and the International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management. As Sector Head and Principal Research Scientist at the Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy, Indu contributes significantly to research and policy development. Additional roles include Advisory Committee Member at APMAS, Member of the IUCN CEM, and Board Member at SaciWATERs. Indu has also been part of the UNFCCC Roster of Experts and previously contributed to the Karnataka Forest Department's REDD+ Cell. Indu's academic credentials include a PhD in Ecology and Environment from Pondicherry University, an MSc in Botany from M S University, and a BSc in Botany from Ethiraj College for Women.
